We booked Hill Country Jennies for our wedding, and they were a highlight of our entire day. Most of our guests flew in from out of town, and the beer burros were such a unique way to give our favorite people a taste of what makes Texas so special. Hill Country Jennies was the best addition to our party! They brought the sweetest donkeys and the cutest highland cow, and everyone was obsessed. The animals were so calm and friendly, and you could just tell they love to be loved on!! The whole experience was easy, fun, and just made the night feel extra special. Can’t recommend them enough!

The jennies stole the show, we had them walk down the aisle (outdoor wedding) after all of our guests were seated. Two friends led the donkeys down & served canned drinks/water from the saddle pouches on the donkeys to help our guests stay cool during the ceremony. They were so precious; I can't say enough about the positive feedback we had for the donkeys!

One of the absolute highlights of our wedding reception was having two donkeys carrying High Noons in their saddle baskets — it was truly unforgettable. They were dressed in the cutest flower crowns and instantly became the life of the party. Guests couldn’t get enough — everyone was lining up to grab a drink and take photos with them. They were so well behaved for it all. It added such a fun and unique touch to our day. I highly recommend it to anyone planning their wedding or party— it’s such a memorable experience! I already recommended them to all my friends and family!!

Hill Country Jennies was hands down one of the best addition to our event! The donkeys were the star attraction. Emmy and Rosa showed up perfectly dressed, incredibly calm, and unbelievably friendly. Guests couldn’t stop taking photos and raving about how fun and unique it was to be served drinks by a mini donkey. The service was top-tier from start to finish with prompt communication, professional setup, and handlers who clearly know what they’re doing. Everything ran smoothly and if you’re considering something fun and unforgettable for your event, this is it!

As an event planner for events by Poppy, hired HCJ For one of our clients celebrating a surprise birthday party. The team showed up on time and left a lasting impression that everybody is still talking about.
